Bizarre

There have been crazy things happening here in Illinois. First, the weather. It snowed almost all day Saturday and was quite cold. Then on Monday afternoon it warmed up just a smidgen and we had RAIN all night into Tuesday afternoon-ish. Everything was soaking wet with rain but wait, it doesn't end there. Tuesday as it was raining, the temperatures decided to drop again. By late afternoon/evening it was snowing. Snow/Rain/Snow..... Mother Nature just can't make up her mind. At this point I would rather have the snow, not rain. I was prepared to go outside this morning to find the roads a big sheet of ice. Luckily they weren't.

Next in the craziness, Illinois politics are so corrupt! Our governor was taken into federal custody early yesterday morning. Apparently you can buy yourself a seat in the senate now days. Oh and if the newspapers are saying things about you that you don't like, just threaten them with money.

This has been the big buzz on the news the last few days. Our governor was arrested and uncovered being even more corrupt than we all knew. He's been in the news for so long about being watched and investigated for corruption then he goes and tries to sale off the senate seat for large amounts of money. Did he really think he wouldn't be caught? It’s going to be quite interesting to see how Illinois politics recovers from this.
