My baby has turned six months old. It's a bit crazy for me to wrap my brain around. I still think she's my little baby until I see her next to a newborn and I realize just how big she's gotten.

The pictures were taken on Thanksgiving day.

At her check up last week she weighed in at 17.88 lbs. and is 27.2 inches long.

This is what it looks like when I pull out the camera. She reaches for it and wants it for herself.
I love her more and more every day and I still think she's the cutest thing ever. She loves to eat her solids. She really likes fruits but that doesn't stop her from eating her veggies. And when I let her, she likes to finger paint on her tray too.

Finger painting time.
She loves to play in the water during bath time. She loves her daddy and gets so excited when he comes home. She loves to hear music. And her latest thing is to pull the blanket, burp rag, or wash cloth over her head and play peek-a-boo. She learned how to sit up on her own around 5 months and it only took her about a week of me supporting her before she was doing it all on her own.

This is when she had just learned to sit up on her own. What a big girl.
Over the past few months she's been my running partner. She loves to be outside and she does so great in the jogging stroller. Together we ran over 200 miles and trained for a marathon, which I ran on November 21st. (I'll try to get my marathon day story written up and post separately but we all know how well I've been doing at posting so don't hold your breath)

Route 66 Marathon, Tulsa, OK 11.21.10

This is her standard position when mom is running. She's all bundled up and ready for a nap or she just chills and looks around.
Now we're looking forward to going home for Christmas and Rob is definitely looking forward to a break. :)
